Complete Property Transformation: 6-Tree Removal Project in Strathmore Park

Intro
Some projects require more than just removing a single tree - they involve transforming an entire property. Sue's Strathmore Park project was one of our most comprehensive jobs, removing six large trees over five days to completely open up her property and restore her views.
The Vision
Sue contacted us with a clear goal: transform her property by removing multiple large trees that had grown to overwhelm the space. The job included two large pine trees, one substantial holm oak positioned on a steep rear bank, and three mature macrocarpa trees dominating the front of the property. Each tree presented unique challenges requiring different removal techniques.
Complex Challenges
This wasn't a straightforward removal job. The variety of tree species, locations, and site constraints meant we needed to adapt our approach for each tree:
Steep Bank Work: The holm oak's position on a steep rear bank required specialised rigging and safety equipment. Working on slopes demands extra caution and different techniques to ensure both worker safety and controlled tree removal.
Front Property Macrocarpas: These three large trees were close to the house and neighbouring properties. Each required careful dismantling using rigging techniques to prevent any damage to structures or landscaping.
Large Pine Removal: The two pine trees needed systematic section-by-section removal due to their size and proximity to buildings.

Five-Day Process
Days 1-2: Tackled the challenging holm oak on the steep bank, using specialised rigging to safely lower sections without damaging the slope or nearby plantings.
Days 3-4: Systematic removal of the three front macrocarpas, working methodically to ensure no damage to the house, driveway, or neighbouring properties.
Day 5: Completed the two large pines and conducted thorough site cleanup, including stump grinding and debris removal.
"Every tree required a different approach - that's what made this project both challenging and rewarding."
Transformation Complete
The results speak for themselves. Sue's property has been completely transformed from an overgrown, tree-dominated space into an open, light-filled environment. Her views are fully restored, the property feels more spacious, and she now has the outdoor space she envisioned.
Conclusion
Complex multi-tree projects require careful planning, varied techniques, and sustained attention to detail over multiple days. This Strathmore Park transformation demonstrates our capability to handle large-scale residential tree care whilst maintaining the same standards of safety and precision throughout the entire project.
